Philadelphia Eagles Sports Football Camp

February 4th, 2010 by ryder4878538

Another keen section of training camp for fans is that they can gape the practice sessions without paying an arm and a leg for tickets. The media is there to observe as well to give football fans at home bulky reports as to how the players witness, who is going to be starting that year, and who may be injure. This will also be expedient to those who play Fantasy Football. The Eagles have been training at Lehigh for 13 years. The university has four football practice fields for the team to tell on, allowing coaches to work on different things at the same time.

The Eagles started to say at Widener University in 1973. The residence was featured in the movie “Invincible” about the archaic Eagles player Vince Papale. This proved to be very bright for both Eagles fans and Philadelphia natives. Philadelphia Eagles sports football camp stayed at Widener until 1980 when they moved their training camp to West Chester University. The team stayed there until 1995 when they made the go to Lehigh.

Philadelphia Eagles sports football camp is a gigantic time for the players to get decisions about the upcoming season. weak players who may have notion they would inaugurate or be a key player that year could easily work their draw down to second string. This could happen especially if a unique rookie comes on to the scene and steals their stammer. The coaches peruse intently as they beget their rosters and imperative decisions for the upcoming season.

Players can easily salvage distress in this intense strict workout they receive at Philadelphia Eagles sports football camp. This in turn could also give a second string player or rookie a chance to disappear into the starting lineup, or even launch a few more games than they expected. The coaches have a perfect opportunity to weed out the weaker players and place together plays for the upcoming season. They also have the chance to find to know the players better on a personal level, especially the novel players and rookies.

Training camp proves to be a very primary tool for everyone fervent. The players, coaches and even the media win to have their predictions for the fresh football season. Each year proves to be more attractive then the next and seeing the players win ready for the upcoming year brings about the football fan in everyone.

Preconceived Notions Are Your Enemy In Pee Wee Football

February 4th, 2010 by ryder4878538

We all seem to have preconceived notions about people, places and things based on the information we have been exposed to or often based on the point of belief of those in our immediate environment. In youth football, I can’t count the number of times I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the play and actions of teams and coaches. Quite often the reputation of these Pee Wee teams and coaches was a product of others, fair the aggregated frustration and covetousness of other youth coaches, nothing more than unbiased sour grapes. Unfortunately in the world of youth football coaching, these impressions and attitudes are pervasive, widespread and often deplorable.

Be start Minded

When coaching Pee Wee football, I try to go into these situations with an originate mind and a soft heart and let the other team and coaches display me spoiled. One of the most disliked and misunderstood coaches in two different leagues my teams have competed in has actually become a trusted friend and confidant. His organization has gone out of its scheme to treat us well and in turn we have gone out of our plot to do the same for them. Now our organizations relish a strong but respectful rivalry and we view forward to playing each other every year for the fair reasons. Would we have felt the same draw if we listened to others and came into the game with one toe in the water? Probably not.

gargantuan Mistake

Unfortunately I too succumb to making judgments about people I know runt about and in many cases these judgments are 100% sinister. I had the opportunity to meet and exhaust some time with Rick Neuheisel from UCLA last weekend at the Clinic of Champions in

Reno, Nevada. Coach Neuheisel gave a very spicy presentation on his version of the 2 microscopic offense and how UCLA will be drilling it this tumble. I knew of Coach from his days at Colorado, his Buffalos were always a ample game when my beloved Cornhuskers were on their schedule. Of course Coach Neuheisels unorthodox West flee “outward rush” attitude was diametrically opposed to the Nebraska no-nonsense, blue collar, physical ground attack attitude. Coach was not a very well liked man in these parts, the West flit persona, passing attack, surfer dude persona etc. Then there was the controversy at Washington University with a NCAA Tourney Hoops, pool, more poor publicity. For some reason, while no one around here knew the guy, he was known as “Skippy” and the usually polite Nebraska fans seemed to like to ridicule this man in the papers, on talk radio and in everyday fan conversation.

While one can’t lift too remarkable away from spending a couple of hours with someone, you can glean somewhat of a feel for that person in my plan. Coach Neuheisel opened his presentation with some background, he didn’t talk about his 66-30 collegiate head coaching recount or his championships, he talked about some humbling moments he had as a player and how we could portray that to our teams and kids. I didn’t know that Coach walked on at UCLA as a very undersized quarterback who was given number 24X as a freshman. X meant you were a duplicate number and probably would never suit up or pick up into a game. Number 24 by the draw that year was Freeman McNeil, so obviously they didn’t judge Coach N was going to obtain on the field. In those days they didn’t redshirt freshmen at UCLA. Fortunately for coach, one of the other freshmen got homesick and halt so Coach got this players number, #20. Coach N was never in the game program that year, in fact the other kid discontinue so gradual that Coach N was known by the modern #20’s name, not his believe, as the game programs had already been printed.

UCLA and Coach Neueheisel

As the season progressed, UCLA was having a very unpleasant season and the coaches were trying to salvage a spark on special teams. The coaches offered a chance to anyone that would volunteer to play special teams. Coach N volunteered to play and to his surprise the UCLA coaches assigned him to the kick return team, where his job was to block L4 on a trap type block. At objective over 195 lbs Coach had to block other teams linebackers that weighed 230-250 running at fat run with malice in their hearts on their kick coverage teams. Coach had a number of very self depreciating stories to deliver including one where he was knocked unconscious and his face camouflage was broken during one of these returns. He didn’t verbalize it in a manner to brag, but to announce and to obtain a bit of fun of himself. A quarterback playing special teams as a designated blocker, that impressed me. He never mentioned his Rose Bowl rep at UCLA or his Rose Bowl MVP award, nothing like that.

In the after-session mixer in the Speakers Suite Coach Neuheisel couldn’t have been different than what I imagined. He was frightened, cordial, not outgoing at all, trustworthy, humble and very willing to offer serve and guidance to any that asked, even to a lowly Pee Wee football coach like me. He went out of his blueprint to offer wait on and appreciation for what youth coaches do for the game of football. He looked you in the survey, gave you a firm handshake and listened intently to what you were saying, asking gigantic questions and asking for clarifications along the draw. I came away from that experience with a considerable different belief of Coach Neuheisel. He had absolutely nothing to collect by spending time with a youth coach from Nebraska, none of my kids are being recruited by UCLA and I’m certainly not a donor prospect for UCLA.

Lesson Learned

On my draw aid to my room I felt a bit ashamed at judging someone so wrongly without the back of more information or personal experience. I distinct hope I’ve learned my lesson, because my prejudging has so often been so immoral and it’s incongruent with how I want my contain kids or players to act. I had the very same experience with High School Coach Steve Calande from Pennsylvania, I was 200% unfavorable about him as well and now we are lickety-split friends. My understanding changed after finally meeting him at a coaches Clinic in Pennsylvannia in 2002. The suitable of the fable is fabricate your contain decisions about people, including players, youth football coaches and parents. hold an initiate mind and they may surprise you.

I’ve been on the other raze of those situations myself. I can’t count the number of times guys have advance to me after a clinic and told me while they were looking forward to hearing me announce, I was grand different (in a postitive draw) than they had expected. I’m not a score at all costs Pee Wee football coach in any contrivance shape or fabricate. Our premise is: you can score, have fun, play kids, be broad sports and inform gargantuan fundamentals too, they aren’t mutually curious goals.

For all those DVD owners who are Errol Flynn fans or just plain love movies of the 30’s and 40’s, Santa Fe Trail is a fine film. Never mind political correctness or historical accuracy (none to be found), just smile and emerse yourselves in great entertainment by great stars…Errol Flynn (JEB Stuart), Raymond Massey (an awesome John Brown), Ronald Reagan (Custer), Olivia de Havilland, Alan Hale, et al. Solid performances by all.

The Roan Group did a good job transferring the movie to DVD…the sound is good and the picture clear. One can only hope that more of Flynn’s movies will be transferred to DVD. To date none of his truly great movies, The Adventure’s of Robin Hood, The Sea Hawk, Gentleman Jim, The Charge of the Light Brigade, Dodge City, Captain Blood, and Objective Burma are no where to be seen on the DVD horizon. A real travesty for all fans of Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Errol Flynn and Ronald Reagan star as soldiers out to thwart abolitionist John Brown in this action film set in the years just prior to the start of the Civil War. The U.S. is divided on the issue of slavery, and Brown has managed to stir the pot quite a bit. Flynn’s best leading lady Olivia de Havilland is along again, this time as the tomboy that both Flynn and Reagan love. Van Heflin is a former fellow cadet of theirs who works for Brown, and Alan Hale is along for another ride with Flynn, providing the comic relief as usual. The performances are all good, with particular praise going to Raymond Massey as Brown, giving an insane, Jesus-like turn as the man whose motives are right, but whose means are very, very wrong. The script mixes a lot of action with humour and romance, plus a few political speeches. The happy ending seems tacked on, but other than that, it works well enough. A lot of people comment on the historical inaccuracies of this film (it’s even mentioned on the video box description!), but my reaction has always been that you don’t watch a Hollywood movie for a history lesson. Dramatic necessities will always lead to changing history to suit the film’s needs. Instead, just sit back, enjoy the action, the chemistry of Flynn and de Havilland, the humour, the great score, and simply take away the idea of what the time must have been like, rather than the facts.

Definitely one of Hayley Mills best films. Her fans definitely love it. Burl Ives, Dorothy McGuire, and Michael Pollard are wonderful in their roles as well as Hayley. The sets and music are delightful in this movie about an earlier time when life was simpler and although challenging, much kinder. Hayley does a fine job playing a young lady that is always full of optimism. In some respects like the optimism of Bing Crosby in “The Bells of St. Mary’s”. She charms her way to get what she wants. This color movie doesn’t seem to age, since if you didn’t know when it was made, you would think it could have been recently. Amazingly families today still find this an enjoyable movie, but then it is an amazing movie. Full of warmth and values of the heart. I recommend it to all, but especially to anyone that enjoys the older Disney classics.

When Disney studios brought together a talented cast, a simple but effective script, and their family oriented production values, the result was often magic. Such was the case with this film, one of Hayley Mills’ best.

When we join the movie the Carey family is under difficult times. Margaret Carey’s (Dorothy McGuire) husband has recently passed away. Stock investments made by Mr. Carey have added to the family’s fiscal woes. As Mrs. Carey struggles to figure out how the family will survive, headstrong Nancy Carey (Mills) has taken matters into her own hands by writing to Mr. Ossium “Osh” Popham (Burl Ives in one of his best roles) to ask whether a certain yellow house was available for rent. That Nancy exaggerated the extent of the family’s financial need is temporarily overlooked, but not forgotten. Mr. Popham is more than happy to help the family and invites them to move into the yellow house for a modest rent.

The yellow house turns out to need a fair amount of work to make it livable, and Osh, who is also the owner of the local general store, continues to aid the Careys as they make improvements. We soon find out that Osh has not communicated with the owner of the house, Tom Hamilton (Peter Brown), with respect to all the various happenings related to the yellow house, and we know that at some point there will likely come a reckoning.

Adding to the family oriented fun is younger brother Peter Carey (Jimmy Mathers), who finds a creative way to get his hair cut, and then adopts a dog for the family. Cousin Julia Carey (Deborah Walley) is forced to move in with the Carey’s due to financial circumstances with the family she has been living. That well-to-do family and their lifestyle causes a lot of stress in the financially strapped Carey family as Julia tends to mention them far too much.

Other supporting cast members include Una Merkel as Mariah Popham and Michael J. Pollard as Digby Popham. Michael also appeared in an episode of the original “Star Trek” television series.

The movie is somewhat anachronistic as feminism is equated with hiding your true self, particularly in the quest for seeking a husband. Yet, with that same definition of feminism we see strong female roles for Dorothy McGuire and Hayley Mills, so the relatively archaic attitude towards feminism is tempered somewhat.

As with any Disney movie, the realities of life are not completely ignored, and the long-absent Tom Hamilton finally shows up. While the difficult issue of what Mr. Hamilton will do with a family that has become somewhat of a squatter in his house, the ending does provide hope that all will turn out well in spite of Nancy’s fears of the “yellow peril.”

This movie has a few brief moments that may tinge on unsuitability for younger audiences, but parents should be able to explain those situations. Otherwise, I consider this movie suitable for families including even the youngest children. This movie is a winner that any family will find to be an excellent addition to their video collection.

I generally don’t cry at movies. I love any movie that can move me enough to shed a tear or two. Grave Of the Fireflies is not one of those movies. In those movies even though I’m sad the final scenes leave me with a residual hope that while some tragic event has just occured the charecters involved will grow and live better. Grave of the Fireflies doesn’t do this. There is no hope or possiabilty of things getting better. This is Life at it’s cruelest. Life that will never get better. This movie doesn’t move you, it shatters you.

Seita And Setsuko (the boy and His little sister) aren’t Heros and their abusive aunt isn’t the villian. Neither for that matter is either side of the war protrayed as good or bad in these movie. This is just a story of people being people. some kind, some indiffrent and some compleatly harsh. Seita makes mistakes that many children in his position would.

Although fifteen years old this film is still very beatiful. The images it portrays are quiet and subdued yet elegent. The final scene is something that shall forever be burned into my brain. It’s touching and heartwrenching finality should break most people.

Well I love Grave of the Fireflies. I Love it for it’s unflinching look at war and life, It’s graceful bueaty as it portrays a young girl playing amidst Fireflies, and for what it does to me at the end.

Why must fireflies die so young?

“Grave of the Fireflies” (”Hotaru no haka”) is one of the most powerful anti-war films I have ever seen, which means that it has no competition when it comes to emotional impact in terms of animated films. The death of Bambi’s mother was a traumatic shock, but nothing like the sense of despair and grief that overwhelms you by the end of this film. The film begins with the spirit of a young boy showing us his death in a train station, after which we follow the fireflies into the past to see his story. At the beginning of the original movie of “Brian’s Song” we were told: “All true stories end in death. This is a true story.” So is “Grave of the Fireflies” because I have no problem granting the legitimacy of “truth” to fiction.

In the last months of World War II an American fire bomb raid destroys the port city of Kobe, where almost all of the buildings are made of wood. Seita (Tsutomu Tatsumi/J. Robert Spencer) is a 14-year old boy who survives along with his 4-year old sister Setsuko (Ayano Shiraishi/Rhoda Chrosite). They were separated from their mother during the raid, which spares them from her fate. Their father is a navy officer serving in the Imperial Navy at sea, and the two kids go off to live with an aunt. With both his school and the war factory where we worked gone, Seita does not know what to do. So he tries to take care of his sister. But his aunt constantly berates him and after trading his mother’s kimonos for rice that she stingly shares with the children, Seita decides to take Setsuko and live in a couple of caves dug for bomb shelters. For a while their live remains idyllic, but then there is nothing left to trade for food, and no food to be bought for money. Seita has to steal food to survive while Setsuko is getting weaker and weaker from hunger.

This film is based on the semi-autobiographical novel written by Akiyuki Nosaka, which won the Naoli Prize, the Japanese equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize for Literature. Like Seita, he survived the fire bombing with a younger sister, who died in his care. Obviously the story stems from a sense of guilty and I believe telling this story was confessional rather than cathartic for Nosaka. Writer-director Isao Takahata turns this tragedy into what can only be described as a poetic experience, achieving a cinematic lyricism that could never have been accomplished in a live-action film (e.g., the way the fireflies have a counterpoint in the pieces of ash that drift on the wind after the fire bombings). There is a quietness to this film, a sense of contemplation that emphasizes important and small moments alike, and makes scenes linger as the heart-rending story plays out to its fatal conclusion. The voice work by both of the young girls playing Setsuko is extremely effective; I have a slight preference for that done by Ayano Shiriashi simply because it is much more naturalistic than what you usually find in anime depicting children.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Grave of the Fireflies! Click Here

“Graves of the Fireflies” is an unforgettable film, one which will reduce most viewers to tears if not outright sobbing. Watching it is a painful experience, but then a film depicting the horrors of war and showing what happens to young children is supposed to have that effect. Viewing it a second time makes the experience even more intense (you probably will not catch what Setsuko’s last words are the first time through, but be prepared for what it will do to you when you watch the film again). You will never, ever forget this film and you should be very, very careful about showing it to younger children, because it will change forever what they think about animated films. It will do that for you as well.

Kennedy was in the White House when this aired. No one had heard of the Beatles yet. All televisions were black and white and most ran on cathode tubes. I was 7 years old. This is a great treat to anyone who wants to relive the children’s programs of their youth. It is not sophisticated like “Thunderbirds”, though. Thunderbirds had effects that still make you wonder how they did them. It also had scripts that approached B movie quality. Fireball is in black and white and is quite primitive by comparison. Still, it will make you want to grab some milk and cookies and watch with delight.

I would have been three or four when this show was on the air. But yet the few episodes I must have seen stuck with me strongly enough that I tried for years to find out what it was. The only thing I remembered was “Fireball.” A year or so ago, the Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds set came out on DVD. Based on the cover photos, I thought maybe this was the show I had enjoyed as a small child in South Dakota. When I heard about the Fireball XL5 release it all clicked. End result: I ordered this set and have watched about six episodes. Nostalgia aside, it’s really a fun look back at what must have been and exciting space adventure for kids back in 1962. The stories are what grabbed me originally and I must say, they aren’t at all bad. You can see a lot of influence on Star Trek in this effort. Is it cheesy? Of course! But in the best way. It’s a glimpse into the excitement of the JFK-era space race that must have captured every person’s imagination in the early 1960s.

One of my friends said of the cover – “It looks so old!” But the transfers in this box are pretty amazing for a 41-year-old show. The intro to the show (”OK Venus?” “OK, Steve!”) are the perfect start to each episode and a chance to boldly go where no puppet (these shows are filmed in “Super Marionation”) has gone before. If you’re someone who likes clever stories and is willing to put up with Black and White video from 1962, I think you’ll have a blast!

Created after an idea of the popular Japanese comic book author Isaichi Ishii, this movie tells nine amusing and moving episodes from the every day life of a “totally normal” Japanese family.

Buy,Download, Or Stream My Neighbors the Yamadas! Click Here

Mischievousely, “My Neighbours, The Yamadas” describes the problems and quarrels that raise from marriage and generation conflicts. Thus, the author paints the lively and colourful portrait of a family who is an explosive mixture of eccentric, yet highly sympathical individualists.

At the same time the wonderfully drawn movie doesn’t lack depth. The poesy of every day life which filters through the lives of the Yamadas is summed up at the end of each chapter in an haiku (most of them by Basho). Being a basic part of Japanese culture and spirituality, these short poems fit the respective characters’ philosophy excellently.

A deeper symbolic dimension opens to the viewer in the partially grotesque/surrealistic scenes of the movie. A flashback shows us the Yamadas as honeymooners riding a gigantic wedding cake. Long married, they try vehemently to get the upper hand in the daily quarrel over the TV programme and both fight virtuousely in Japanese fencing style over the remote control.

“My Neighbours, The Yamadas” premiered extremely successfully in 2000 at the Anime-Festival in Annecy (France).

This quirky comic strip family is lovingly brought to life in Houhokekyo tonari no Yamada-kun (My Neighbors the Yamadas). Mom (Matsuko), Dad (Takashi), Grandma (Shige), Noboru and Nonoko, and family dog Pochi are presented in a series of vignettes, from Matsuko and Takashi’s wedding (complete with a dream sequence comparing marriage to a bobsled run and being tossed on stormy seas), to a forgetful day (blame the ginger!), to a hilarious nighttime encounter with motorcycle punks. The animation style is very low-key, taking its visual cues from pen-and-ink comics and a pastel wash. Less is more, as the mere outline of shoji screens and sakura (cherry blossoms) suffices to paint a minimalist picture of modern Japan. Poetry by Basho rounds out each clip. This is a wonderful introduction to Japanese culture, from proper dining etiquette (DON’T dump your rice into your soup :-) , to Japanese homes (noren, airing out futons, place settings, traditional food such as miso, tamago, and tempura, changing into slippers when entering homes) wedding ceremonies, and more.

Buy,Download, Or Stream My Neighbors the Yamadas! Click Here

Some reviewers have mentioned that the stories lack cohesiveness, but I greatly enjoyed this unusual portrait of family life that looked at parent-child relations, marriage, salarymen, and the power of imagination. Although Disney dubbed this with an all-star cast (James Belushi, David Ogden Stiers), I didn’t listen to the English dub, so I can’t comment on the English cast (I prefer to view anime in the original Japanese with English subtitles to practice my Japanese listening comprehension). A vast departure from other Takahata Isao films (like Grave of the Fireflies), but an enjoyable one nonetheless, particularly if you are already familiar with elements of Japanese culture.

Amazon advertises in two locations that this product includes “Includes a round water ballast base.” It does not. Remained on hold with the manufacturer for 30 mins to reach customer service. Customer service changed their mind twice about whether or not UMB-436725 is supposed to have included a water ballast base, but it is not in the package, could not possibly fit in the small package, and says clearly in the instructions that it must be purchased separately. Amazon responded promptly offering a full refund including pre-paid return shipping, but this is a bummer having taken a half-day off from work to sign for the package and having waited for the product when I could have purchased a competitors and have it up by now. The umbrella is completely unusable without a weighted base in reality and per the instructions, it will fall over if you sneeze without the 100-200lbs securing the base.

LG does’nt get enough praise.

Just bought this TV for the sake of it being an IPS panel and for its apparent adjustability (and also 1080p). Plus this tv is so easy to calibrate; the ‘picture wizard’ is extremely helpful.

The amount of menu options is jaw-dropping, as is the style of the set. The LH40 model looks neat with the plastic square along the bottom of the panel, but I like the more minimalist look of the LH30, and I do not like the 120hz or the $100 price jump of the LH40.

I made a comparison to my sony 32M4000 (which I have now given to my father) and there are some interesting differences (many are polar opposites):

-The sound is far superior on the LG.

-Black levels are very close, sony’s is a bit deeper and maintains black colors better at angles.

-The whiteness of whites is slightly better on the sony, but colors and mid tones definitely have more of a ‘punchy’ factor on the LG.

-Color is amazing; rich and saturated; best ive seen on any LCD, period.

-Color does not wash out at all from different angles, only very dark colors and black tend to become discolored (blue or red depending on the angle).

-Of course there are far, far fewer picture options on the sony.

-My sony has a ghosting problem with dark colors, not so on the LG; motion blur and lag is also reduced too.

-OTA HD channels look decent enough, not as sharp as the sony, but the better color makes up for it imo.

What was the main factor that made me get this LG?..its S-IPS panel.

Samsung is an excellent maker of lcds, but I steered clear of them this time, as buying a tv from them is like playing the lottery. They use 3 different panels with differing levels of color and contrast quality; you are not essentially getting what you pay for:

You may get Samsung’s own S-PVA panel, the best quality (if you’re lucky).

An A-MVA panel from Taiwan’s AUO (a notch worse than S-PVA).

Chinese company Chi Mei’s S-MVA panel (worst of the three).

Panasonics IPS Alpha panels are decent, but on some panels dark colors appear far too blue from different angles.

That narrows it down to LG’s S-IPS panel; its color saturation, vividness, and response time are worth the slight sacrifice in contrast and black depth (at least in my opinion).

This tv is not perfect, however; I spotted 3 dead pixels right out of the box (2 bright, 1 dark), right around the middle of the screen. They are practically invisible without being a foot from the screen and looking hard for them, however.

Viewing angles demonstrate some darkening of the picture, but its not too bothersome (swivel stand helps).

No other flaws I can think of at the moment, I recommend this tv!

My calibration settings use color adjustments from cnet.com along with some of my own tweaks, try them out!

The LG 32LH30 32-Inch 1080p replaced a 720p 32 inch Samsung which I returned because of erratic sound quality. The LG provides a very clear picture for upscaled DVD movies and over the air digital signals. The speakers provide excellent sound for a small living room although the addition of a home theater system would substantially increase movie enjoyment. Standard definition signals also reproduce a stable clear picture. Colors are very good and the set provides sufficient tools to tweak the picture for personal preference. I have not used it for bluray as yet but HD from satellite is very good. The features of this unit described on the Amazon specifications list accurately describe its features and can be relied upon. I am not a hard core cinema/video buff but I cannot imagine that this unit will not satisfy most viewers who want a well priced midsized flat screen high definition TV. My five stars are based upon what I expect in similarly designed and priced units for a smaller room.

First, I am feeling cheated right now, since I paid over [...] for this TV around a few months back. On the other hand, there is a lot of positive things about this TV which I really appreciate.

1. The picture quality is just amazing. It really has a enriched color display and your experience with sports will probably be awesome.

2. The sound quality is not the best I can get, but it is really close to perfection and I would still rate it 5.

3. The body has a rich color and is perfect and is stylish.

4. When viewed from various angles, there is very little depreciation of real output and a few faded spots do appear. On a comparison with other models, this is very minimal. Also, you would be viewing from a good distance, which voids the issue. We also use the swivel when you hook it up for games.

5. I have it connected with DVD players and it is awesome so far. Very satisfied with picture quality.

I kind of wish I have a bigger screen though. I saw this 37″ 1080p [...]which is also glossy black at a local store and is just a [...] extra.

It depends on your viewing distance and how far your sofa is from the television. With 1080p and a deep discount, I would call this a deal!!
